The American Singer Musical Theater Intensive program will be presented in Sweden, in July, 2016. Nestled in the heart of Sweden's Dalarna Province.
An International Faculty will be assembled to guide singers in repertoire found on Broadway and in musical theater houses across the European Union. Daily Master Classes will be conducted in a collaborative team-teaching environment with each faculty member present. Private daily voice coaching will be provided by master teachers from New York. Two guest instructors will also work with the participants during the week to discuss working and studying in Europe and America. A daily 'Morning Movement' class for singers will be programed as well as special topic seminar sessions during the week. At the end of the residency, the program will travel to local locations in Sweden for Showcase performances. These performances will solidify concepts and techniques studied during the program. Each participant will leave the program with specific knowledge relating to his/her talent and objectives as an artist.

The AMERICAN SINGER Music Theater Intensive returns to its home in Breckenridge, Colorado. Daily Master Classes will be conducted in a collaborative team-teaching environment with each Artist-faculty member present. The classes will be led by each of the faculty members in rotation. Private daily voice coaching will be provided by master teachers. Two guest instructors will also work with the participants during the week. A daily 'Morning Movement' class for singers will be programed as well as special topic seminar sessions during the week. At the week's end, a New York-based casting director will present a seminar on "Life of the New York Actor." This seminar will provide information and audition practice as well as a general discussion on the state of the industry and current expectations for talent. The program ends with a Showcase performance that solidifies the concepts and techniques studied during the program. Each participant will leave the program with specific knowledge relating to his/her talent and objectives as an artist.
